About Us

Since 1955, Lansing Presbyterian Church has had a presence in the community of Lansing, a suburban community deeply rooted in Dutch and German heritage. The town of Lansing is located approximately 25 miles south of the Chicago Loop. The building was designed by award-winning architect, Edward Dart who also designed many other buildings and churches, among them Chicago's Water Tower place.

The church is located 1/4 mile east of Torrence Avenue on Ridge Road, the main street leading through the village.

LPC is a small congregation that has set out to do "great things." Mission is at the heart of the congregation where there is a calling to address the needs of the community, whether that be local, national, or global. All that we do centers on our realization of God's love for us and Christ's command to us in the Great Commission.

Come and see who we are and who we strive to be.
